My name is Dennis Temba.

I am 47 years old and I reside in Zambia.

I have an advanced diploma as my current level of education.

The reason for funding campaign is to raise money in form of a scholarship to study an online Bachelor with IU.

My program of interest is the Bachelor of Arts in International Healthcare Management (180 ECT).

I would like to complete the degree program in 36 months and the cost of the rest of the 10% is €1000.

This would mean I should target to raise a little over €1025.

The program I am interested in would benefit me tremendously.

I would be equipped with a world class bachelor degree.

I would like an education instilled in German Excellence and Global Relevance.

I would be able to make a positive contribution to healthcare in my community and country.

As African countries continue to enjoy greater life expectancies than ever before,there is a constantly increasing need for experts healthcare managers to come in and find ways to deliver efficient and affordable care to a greater number of patients.

I strongly believe this program will help me save lives.

The level of education that I would like to start is a bachelor degree level.

The value of education is something that I have understood since a very tender age.

My parents were poor migrants, neither of my parents had an opportunity to attend college,and faced many challenges in their personal and professional lives because of this.

They made a commitment early in my life to do everything within their power to instil in me a life of learning and an understanding of the importance of hard work and service to others.

Because of their love and sacrifice over the years,I have been able to dedicate the time and energy necessary to academic achievement even though money has always been tight.

Being able to give back to my community is important to me.Therefore,in addition to focusing on my studies,I have also been active in community service outside of the classroom

I am a holder of a UK care certificate-Full 15 Standards.

This has enabled me to volunteer at local hospitals and senior care homes taking care of the elderly.

My family has made many sacrifices to allow me to focus on education.

I now have an opportunity to become the first person in the family to attend university,though I’m in need of financial assistance to realize what has been a long term goal for me and a dream for my parents.

I have chosen to study International Healthcare Management because this would qualify me for a variety of organizational healthcare jobs.

I am passionate about improving the delivery of care at hospitals and nursing homes and other health organizations.

If selected for this scholarship,I will continue to apply the same diligence to my studies as I have to this point,making education and service to others my top priority.

I will represent your organization well during my years in university and beyond.
